The Brief Biographies of Lingnan School Artist
The author, Zheng Chu Ting, made friends with Guangdong artists since the early Republic, regardless of any painting schools. He is omniscient about the anecdote of the Lingnan painting circle, and is now the most qualified person to write the biography for the Guangdong artists. Though this book collects only 88 artists, it can actually be treated as an historic record of the prosperous period of the Lingnan School, and is a valuable reference for those who study art history.
